Our favorite protein shake contains hemp seeds and banana, an irresistible flavor mix that can be enjoyed white, spiced (with cinnamon powder) or with the addition of a little cocoa (unsweetened) to get super greedy.
Here are the ingredients for two hemp seed smoothies:
2 bananas not overripe (or they will be very high in sugar!)
40 gr of hulled seeds of hemp sativa
200 ml of almond milk
100 ml of water
Aromas of your choice such as cinnamon, cocoa, vanilla, orange peel… indulge yourself!
It's time to take the blender and put all the ingredients in it except the water, after having blended vigorously, see if the density already seems good or if you prefer your drink a little more liquid pour the water. It is important that you blend at high speed to create a sort of foam and at the same time chop the seeds well.
The smoothie is ready! If you prefer to consume it calmly, add a squeeze of lemon to prevent it from blackening and keep it in the fridge to enjoy it within a few hours!
Fancy variations to the basic protein shake
Do you want to change your drink every morning? It will be very easy to get balanced smoothies, just add a handful of seasonal fruit and / or vegetables of your choice.
